Babatunde Salawu who, until recently, was the 1st National Vice President of the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development, has a Masters Degree in Managerial Psychology from University of Ibadan, has over 35 years’ experience in Human Development, Marketing, Sales and in the Academia. A versatile deep –rooted professional who has carved a niche in the Human Resource management, Training, Marketing, and Logistics/Procurement Management and has written books on Purchasing and Supply.
He is a member of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (formerly NIMARK), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (NIPSM) and Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN). He is also a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement of USA, Performance Management Association of United Kingdom and the Institute of Employment Studies of the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development as well as Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria among others.
He became a Certified International Facilitator in Supply Chain Management and also in Procurement Management from the American Certification Institute (ACI) and International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (ipscmi) in 2016.
He worked in many blue chip organizations including Chemical & Allied Products Plc. (a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc.) where he worked as Training Manager, Marketing Manager (Pharmaceuticals and Household Products), Regional Sales Manager and Human Resources Manager.
